Goalie Charlie Hodge won six Stanley Cups while appearing in only 16 playoff games. That’s because he played backup to Jacques Plante during Plante’s Canadiens’ heyday.

It wasn’t until Charlie suited up for the ’70-71 Vancouver Canucks that I first noticed him though, as he compiled a record of 15-13-5, a considerable achievement on a team that finished 24-46-8. Then he couldn’t come to terms on a new contract with the Canucks so he quit hockey and started selling real estate instead.
